MyScout login

MyScout can be accessed via the Scouts SA Website or directly at www.sa.myscout.com.au.

Access is available to
  1. All Adults
  2. Rover Scouts
  3. Venturer Scouts and Scouts

Your username is your scout membership number, and the initial password is your date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy). You'll be prompted to change the password when you log in for the first time. To do so, click on the link provided in the automated email from MyScout saying 'Change my password'. Create a new password that is strong and secure to protect your personal information. Here are some suggestions for a strong password:

  • Use a mix of capitals, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Aim for at least eight characters, preferably twelve or more.
  • Avoid using names or characters from your email address.

Consider using phrases that are easier to remember, such as three unrelated words separated by hyphens (for example: banana-surprise-mounted). Once you start typing your new password, a strength bar will appear. It needs to turn green and indicate strong to be accepted. If the bar is not green, you will receive prompts to add characters to strengthen your password. If your password is accepted, it is considered strong. 

Remember, passwords are regularly checked, so you may be asked to update it again in the future. If your password is not strong, you will receive an automated email from MyScout with a link saying ‘Change my password’.
