Meeting Room-Excel TV Screen
There are two ways to use the TV screens in Excel
room for meetings and presentations.
Method 1: Login to the onboard Screen
1. Please ensure that the desktop device is on or turn desktop de
vice on. Desktop device is placed behind TV Screen
2. On TV remote, press the input option 3. Set option to HDMI 2
4. As a user, you can generally login to the TV account - Scouts Mafeking
with the following details:
- Username: Mafeking
- Password: Gol18031 (NB: password has a lowercase l)
Alternatively,
You can log in to the device using your SAHQ
staff details to access your MS365 apps.
- Username: firstname.lastname
- Password: staff password
With either of these, you would be able to access your MS365 apps and Teams for presentation.
Method 2: Cast your work device to the Onboard
Screen
- On TV remote, press the input option
- Set option to Chromecast
or HDMI 3 for casting purposes.
- On your laptop, press Windows
Key + K on
your keyboard. This will open the connect display screen.
- In the menu, please choose “Reception” from the list of available devices.
- once connected, click "allow" on the screen of the device you are casting to mirror your display.

For Staff and Visitors Access
Please check to see if the desktop device is powered on before you start, or you can turn it on
Desktop device is located just behind the TV Screen
- If TV is turned off, please turn on using remote.
- On TV remote, press the AV input option.
- Set option to HDMI 1.
- Guest/staff can login to the TV account - Scouts Mafeking with the following details:
- Username: Mafeking
- Password: Gol18031 (NB: password has a lowercase l)
Alternatively,
Staff members can also log into their MS365 account to access Microsoft tools for meetings and presentations.
- Username: firstname.lastname
- Password: staff password
With either of these, staff members and visitors would be able to access MS365 apps and Teams for presentation.
