Will I be able to access my emails or files during the migration?
No, once the migration commences on 18 February, you will not be able to
access your emails or files until you have reset your password and updated your
MFA.
Any emails sent or
received during the migration period will be held and delivered to your inbox
once migration is complete.
What happens
to emails sent to me while the migration is taking place?
Emails will continue to be sent and received by your email but will not appear in your inbox until ater you have reset your password and MFA.
Is this
method secure? Will somebody be able to access my account?
This procedure has been deemed by Microsoft to be secure. The password
reset can only occur by using a one-time code sent to your mobile phone on
record.
How long will migration take?
It is estimated to take between 1 hour to 5 hours. During this time, our phone lines and IT Help desk email will not be available as they are part of the systems moving across to the new tenancy. However, we may be back online after 4:00pm when the migration is over to attend to any post -migration concerns.
