Enabling SMS option on the system

SMS functionality can be enabled on instances with the following considerations:


Access
SMS messages can be sent from within Consent2go by users with specific user roles. This access must be granted to the chosen staff.

Cost
There are additional charges to use the SMS function. This is currently charged at 10c per SMS of 140 characters.

SenderID
When an SMS is sent via Consent2go, it appears as a chosen SenderID rather than a mobile number.
We require you to choose the SenderID you would like to use.
This cannot be more than 11 characters or include any special characters (._/ or spaces)
Examples: ScoutsSA
Parents cannot reply to SMS messages sent from Consent2go.
