MyScout MS365 login setup

Multi Factor Authentication to Login

To maintain security with data available in MyScout, Multi-Factor Authentication is a requirement for logging into the system.

Multi-Factor authentication - when enabled - will link your account with a trusted Authenticator and whenever you wish to login you will be required to present the random code generated from this Authenticator app in addition to your member number and password.

If you are new to MFA and do not know how to use it, please use this link to see how it is used.

The most secure way to achieve this is through the use of your Scouts SA email address and logging in via this authentication method.

Info
For those not using M365, the below outlines the process for utilising MFA on your login.
Login to MyScout and browse to your member profile (members, select your member record)
Click on the security link

You may also click on Configure, as seen in the top right-hand corner of your profile.

From here you may be asked to enter your password, enter this, and you'll see this screen.

Click enable MFA
You will be presented the below screen.
Follow the instructions on screen to set up using your preferred Authenticator app.
